Living a Life Without Pain
WHAT CAUSES NECK PAIN?Neck pain or shoulder stiffness can be caused by everyday activities such as using electronic devices, accidents, injuries like whiplash, falls, repeated bad posture or ergonomics, emotional and chemical stresses (e.g. painkillers and muscle relaxants). These cause the bones in the spine to shift out of its normal alignment resulting in vertebral subluxations. Damaging pressure is put on the nerves going to the shoulders, upper back, and arms and hands, causing pain or aches in those areas.
HOW CAN CHIROPRACTIC HELP?Chiropractic care is effective in treating neck pain and stiffness through specific adjustment techniques to relieve the pressure on the nerves. It can also improve range of motion, flexibility, posture, and the overall health of the entire spine.

Did you know that a healthy neck posture should reflect a C shaped curve, between 31- 40 degrees?
This is a before and after neck x-ray of Rachael and her chiropractic experience.
“I was having bad posture at work and spend long hours working on the computer. This lead to me experiencing stiff neck and shoulder pain for a long period of time. I have tried massages and went to the TCM. However, the relief was temporary, and the pain usually comes back a day or two.
After starting on Chiropractic care, I am feeling so much better. My stiffness and pains are gone, and I feel more energized! Dr Shane has also taught me some tips to maintain a good posture at work so that I can perform at my best.”
