Subluxation or a misalignment, short of a dislocation of the vertebrae can happen at any time to people of all ages. Regular chiropractic care is paramount for adjusting subluxations to maintain a strong spine and a healthy body.
Did you know that unnatural birth can be the first cause of subluxation?
Use of vacuum extraction and forceps commonly reach 60-80 kg of pulling force during delivery which will lead to birth trauma such as nerve damage.

There are 33 bones (Vertebrae) in the spine but only 24 are moveable. Usually these joints move and function normally but sometimes accidents, injuries, falls, poor ergonomics, repetitive traumas and etc. can cause the joints to go out of normal alignment. When this happens, these misaligned bones will affect the nerves exiting the spine and cause pain or symptoms where those nerves go. This is a condition called vertebral subluxation.

Subluxations are usually the result of physical, emotional or chemical stresses.
Physical stress: Slips and falls, accidents, unnatural birth, poor posture or unnatural/heavy loading.
Emotional stress: Stress causes the muscles to constantly tighten up, increasing the risk of muscle spasms and fatigue.
Chemical stress: Alcohol, drugs, and poor diet.
